Beacon Promotions, New Ulm, Minn., has hired Mark Whitner as the new regional sales manager covering New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
“We’re very excited to add Mark to the Beacon sales team,” said Lisa Pelzel, vice president of key accounts for Beacon. “With his industry knowledge and experience, we are confident that he will quickly become a go-to resource for our distributor clients.”
Whitner previously worked as a regional sales manager for a number of promotional companies. With more than 20 years of experience in the promotional products industry, he says his only regret is that he didn’t discover Hub Promotional Group sooner.
When he isn’t out visiting his distributor friends, he likes to spend time at the Jersey Shore, golf, go to outdoor concerts, catch the latest movies, exercise his green thumb in the yard, and try new recipes in the kitchen and on the grill.
Whitner currently resides in Plainfield, N.J., but was born and raised in Washington, D.C., and loves going back when he can to meet up with friends and family, and catch a Washington Nationals game.
