Wireless Smartphone Chargers Recalled by Promo Supplier, CPSC

Bluefin International, Cumming, Ga., which does promotional products business as Logo Included, is recalling a model of wireless smartphone chargers after receiving reports of them overheating, posing a burn hazard.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall involves wireless smartphone chargers with the model number AC16B printed on the bottom. They are circular with clear edges, a white plastic center and black trim.

The CPSC and Bluefin received three reports of the items overheating, but no reports of injuries so far. The chargers were distributed as a promotional item at the FICO World trade show in Miami Beach, along with other events in April.

The CPSC advised recipients to immediately stop using the items and to contact Bluefin for a full refund. Via the CPSC recall notice:
