Boxercraft Inc., Atlanta, announced it has completed a transaction to purchase the assets of Jones & Mitchell Sportswear Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Augusta Sportswear Holdings Inc., based out of Augusta, Ga.
Jones & Mitchell Sportswear designs and manufactures decorated apparel for multiple retail distribution channels in the United States. Founded in 1985, Jones & Mitchell Sportswear is considered the premiere source for fashion apparel and trend sensitive graphics applied to retail brands and collegiate licenses.
Jones & Mitchell Sportswear is headquartered in Overland Park, Kan., and will remain under the direction of its president Donna Hansen and the current management team. The asset purchase by Boxercraft Inc. will enable all operations to continue without interruption or disruption to the benefit of the customers served by Jones & Mitchell.
