Camsing Global CEO Discusses Acquisition of Corvest and Senator Promotional Group USA

Boasting a client list that includes distributor heavyweight companies like Proforma, BDA, Adventures in Advertising (AIA) and HALO Branded Solutions, Camsing Global LLC is no stranger to the industry. Camsing Global LLC is the North American division of Guangzhou Camsing Limited, a manufacturing and supply chain company in Guangzhou, China that has been supplying distributors with promotional products for well over a decade. But with their recent acquisition of supplier companies Corvest and Senator Promotional Group USA, the Camsing name just got a whole lot more recognizable.

“I think everybody knows that 98 percent of all products are made in China,” said Billy Dolan, CEO of Camsing Global LLC. “And everybody talks about product safety. Now for the first time you are going to have a Chinese manufacturer who can [put their] stamp of approval on it.”

Dolan, an American native, wanted to stress that Camsing Global LLC is a transparent company and has no intention of changing the inner workings of the industry, especially when it comes to the distribution supply chain. “We are a very open book, we are very committed to the distribution channel and to distributors,” he said.

Active in Europe, the Americas, and Australia, Dolan noted that Camsing Global LLC is “not just a Chinese company—it is a global company, with strong western grassroots.”

A strong western influence is clear. Camsing Global LLC has been active in bringing American brands into the Chinese market, holding various licensing agreements for the NBA, Warner Brothers and some Disney licenses to name a few. Camsing Global LLC made their initial push by supplying China with very American promotional products. Dolan described Camsing Global LLC as a “Western/Chinese company. Our success has been on piggybacking on Western culture, Western management and Western brands.”

Now with the acquisition of both Corvest and Senator Promotional Group USA, Camsing Global LLC is well positioned to grow on the supplier side of the supply chain. “We realized if we collapse the China side of the supply chain there’s some great growth opportunities, creating an energized structure that is going to give us a lot of transparency, a lot of control and [make us] stronger compared to our competition here in the United States,” Dolan said.
