Canadian Distributor Accolade Promotion Group Enters U.S. Due To Company Restructuring

Accolade Promotion Group (APG), Toronto, Ontario, announced yesterday its parent company, Golfsmith International, Austin, Texas, plans to merge its promotional product divisions under one leadership team. Golfsmith International divisions Golf Town Corporate Sales, based in Canada, and Golfsmith, based in the U.S., will fall under APG effective Dec. 29. This merger will mark APG’s entrance into into the U.S. marketplace.

“APG has a proven track record and solid foundation to further grow our promotional products business,” Sue Gove, president and CEO of Golfsmith International said. “We believe no other distributor will be able to match our level of service and expertise, and we look forward to continuing to work with our trusted industry partners and we enter this next phase of growth.”

With this change, APG will use its additional resources to enhance their customers’ experiences. Aside from its formal entrance into the U.S. market, APG will increase its sales staff by 60 percent.
