Charles River Apparel Launches Pop-Up Store in Support of Christmas in the City

Charles River Apparel, Sharon, Mass., announced the launch of its first-ever pop-up store, starting on “Giving Tuesday,” Dec. 3, in support of Christmas in the City.

For three days—Dec. 3, 6 and 7—local customers, friends and family will be invited to visit the store located at 1245 Providence Highway in Sharon. Fifty percent of the total sales will be donated directly to Christmas in the City, a long-time charitable partner of Charles River that brings comfort and joy to Boston-area families experiencing homelessness and poverty.

“We’re excited to open our doors and meet our customers while doing something good for the community,” said Tracy Lehnen, vice president of marketing for Charles River. “Christmas in the City is an organization our employees look forward to supporting each year, and we’re delighted to help expand their reach and donate even more this year.”

The pop-up kicks off with a special toy drive. In addition to great styles and prices, the first 50 customers who bring in an unwrapped toy will receive a commemorative Christmas in the City sweatshirt.

On Dec. 6, from 12-6 p.m., the holiday fun will continue with gingerbread treats from Ginger Betty’s Bakery and the opportunity for a chance to win a beautiful gingerbread house just in time for the holidays.

On Saturday Dec. 7, the store will wrap up with food trucks, more treats and a chance to win free tickets to Sunday’s big game just up the street in Foxboro!

Store hours:

  • Tuesday, Dec. 3 – 12-6 p.m.
  • Friday, Dec. 6 – 12-6 p.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 7 – 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
