NAPCO Media, a Philadelphia-based leading B2B media company and parent company of Promo Marketing, today announced that Chip Danby has joined as executive vice president of the Promo Marketing Group, whose brands include Promo Marketing, Power Meetings, Print+Promo and Distributor Connect.
Danby brings more than 20 years of industry experience to Promo Marketing. He has dedicated his career to helping suppliers and distributors build their businesses, most recently spending the past six years as the director of promotional products for Delta Apparel, Duluth, Ga. Working with national and individual promotional distributors alike, he has worked to connect Delta’s blank offering to its DTG2GO digital printing group and Fun Tees, Delta’s high-volume package complete print team.
Danby’s experience in a variety of business segments, from uniforms to licensing to retail, has allowed him to provide invaluable insight to distributors helping to drive Delta’s overall promotional business. Previously, Danby has held sales, marketing and merchandising roles with Club Colors, Superior Uniform and Cintas.
Danby holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Hope College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. His approach to market and business development is to initiate collaborative and creative solutions across multiple channels, leading to dramatic growth and organizational paradigm shifts.
