HUB Promotional Group, Braintree, Mass., announced today that Chris Anderson will become the company’s new CEO on June 14. Anderson, formerly chief operating officer for the company, will fill the role vacated by Joe Fleming following his resignation as CEO.
“I am thrilled and humbled by the opportunity to lead HPG,” Anderson said in a press release. “I have acquired a deep appreciation for the culture developed by Joe and the HPG team, which provides a tremendous foundation from which to further build and grow this great company. My vision for HPG is 100 percent aligned with the talented leadership team, and together we will continue to deliver on our promise of exceptional products, service and value. We are all grateful to Joe for his decades of service in leading HPG to this point and, from here, we will continue to improve and innovate to drive profitable growth for our customers.”
Fleming will remain a shareholder and member of the HPG board of directors.
“After more than 30 years devoted to the growth, care and well-being of HUB, it is time for me to pursue other goals and hand the reins to the next generation of leaders at HPG,” Fleming said in the release. “In his first six months as COO, Chris has earned the respect of our entire team, and exhibited the passion and wisdom necessary for us to realize the shared vision we all have for HPG. HPG has a fantastic leadership team, and it will continue to grow and delight customers in the process.”
