Delta Apparel, Duluth, Ga., is enhancing its 2020 vision thanks to new partnerships with five brands: Perry Ellis International, Dri Duck, Burnside/Sierra Pacific, Liberty Bags and Outdoor Cap.
“We are extremely excited to be partnering with Delta Apparel as the U.S. Wholesaler in selling the 2020 Callaway, Jack Nicklaus and Original Penguin corporate apparel collections into the promotional products market,” said Jeff Smith, vice president of the corporate division of Perry Ellis International. “We believe Delta Apparel, with its experienced sales team, offers a best-in-class sales and service model that will perfectly mesh with Perry Ellis’ sales team and our best-in-class golf brands. For over a decade, Perry Ellis has successfully sold world-renowned brands into the corporate market. The Delta team will significantly enhance the overall success of these brands [by] utilizing their broad and loyal customer base.”
“We are impressed with Delta’s strong sales leadership and diverse go-to-market strategy,” Tiffany Anderson, corporate channel manager for Dri Duck, said. “Adding Delta to our list of wholesale partners will be instrumental in our continued growth in both the corporate and retail markets.”
Delta Apparel will be expanding its catalog into multiple new categories in 2020, including golf apparel, outerwear, workwear, hats, bags and other accessories. More than 2,000 new SKUs will be offered across these categories, along with further expansions in the fast-growing Delta-branded fashion basics products line.
“Delta Apparel has been the choice in the industry for core basic tee shirts for many years,” said Mary Bostwick, director of marketing at Delta Apparel. “Over the last several years, we have broadened our line into fashion basics, with the successful launch of our Delta Platinum collection. We are excited to now be further enhancing the products we offer our customers with the new partnerships for 2020.”
“The Sierra Pacific Apparel Group and its brands, Burnside, Sierra Pacific, FeatherLite, Hilton and Rawlings, are excited to add Delta as a new wholesaler,” said Ronnie Alschuler, executive vice president of Sierra Pacific. “We would like to congratulate Delta Apparel in this exciting new venture as they move to distribute industry-branded clothing in addition to their Delta-branded product lines.”
“Outdoor Cap’s reputation as a quality headwear provider, a supplier recognized for our retail-inspired styling, and [a] top brand within the promotional products trade will be a nice complement to the industry-leading product line Delta Apparel offers with its T-shirts, outerwear and athletic apparel,” said Jeremy Laney, executive vice president of sales for Outdoor Cap. “We look forward to this new partnership as Delta Apparel markets and sells Outdoor Cap products to the promotional products sector, as well as the vast network of decorators across the United States.”
“Everyone has told us that they love our tees, but they want a supplier that can meet their entire product needs,” added Todd Scarborough, Delta Activewear president of sales, marketing and merchandising. “We listened. This year we are partnering with some of the most famous brands in the market, known for quality, innovation and fashion-forward silhouettes, to offer these categories to customers. We are also excited to be launching a seamless solution for our customer’s small-run decoration needs with our on-demand digital print services, powered by DTG2Go. With these new products and services, Delta Activewear can now be our customer’s complete one-stop shop for all things apparel, headwear and accessories.
