Dyenomite Apparel, the Hilliard, Ohio-based supplier of tie-dyed apparel, moved into a new facility this month. Along with its sister company, Ares Sportswear, the company relocated to its new base of operations which is four times the size of the former campus.
The Hilliard-based companies moved to a nearly 180,000-square-foot building that is located just one street over from its prior 42,000-square-foot facility. The move, which has been in the works since September of 2011, has positively affected the operations of both companies.
“Our purchase of this building allowed us to design our facility according to our own specifications,” said Mike Leibrand, owner of Ares Sportswear. “As a result, we have drastically increased the productivity and, more importantly, the efficiency of both companies.”
Prior to the purchase of their newest facility, Ares Sportswear and Dyenomite Apparel expanded their former facility twice — once in 2004 and again in 2006, adding more than 10,000 square feet each time. The companies credit their recent move to their steady expansion and to an Ohio tax incentive that could fuel the addition of nearly 100 jobs.
The companies’ new mailing addresses will be 3704 (Ares Sportswear) and 3706 (Dyenomite) Lacon Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026. The organizations’ phone and fax numbers will remain the same.
Established in 1994, Ares Sportswear is an expert team and league outfitter. Ares Sportswear offers customized athletic uniforms, T-shirts, shorts, sweats, warmups, bags and accessories. The company specializes in screen-printing, embroidery, vinyl application and tackle twill decoration.
The industry leader in high-quality, handmade tie-dyes, Dyenomite offers a range of styles, colors, garments and services that fulfill a variety of customer needs. Nate Brown, along with Ares Sportswear owners Mike Campbell and Mike Leibrand, founded Dyenomite in 2000.
