When the day finally arrives that time-travel is a reality (and no longer merely the premise of popular ’80s movie franchises involving DeLoreans and Michael J. Fox) the first thing we’re going to do is go back and give our teenage selves some good old-fashioned future-advice. First on the list will be “invent iPhone,” but right after that it’ll be “Please, for the love of Han Solo, stop wearing that oversized Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace shirt every day!”
It’s safe to say that our teenage selves didn’t have much in the way of fashion sense. Or a social life. But while we may not yet have time-travel, we at least have fashionable apparel options—like the ones featured here, taken from Promo Marketing’s December issue—to keep today’s teens and tweens from suffering the same fate as our younger selves.
Dye-o-rama
Heritage Sportswear Inc.’s slim-fitting Juniors’ Dyed Tee features a coverseam-stitched rib-knit collar and a double-needle stitched sleeve. With 19 color options that include basil, papaya, jelly and chestnut, there should be something to suit everyone’s fashion and culinary tastes alike. It is made from 4.7 oz., 100 percent combed ring-spun cotton and is available in juniors’ sizes S to XL.
Bon Voyage
Made from plush, anti-pill Loftex fleece, the Youth Voyager Fleece Jacket from Charles River Apparel is perfect for keeping warm on epic journeys-or just the walk to the bus stop. Its elasticized cuffs and open hem with adjustable shockcord drawstring and cord locks keep the cold out, while zippered pockets keep personal items in. It comes in black/black and navy/black and in youth sizes S to XL.
Major League Comfort
It may be the offseason, but the Canvas Men’s Hawthorne Baseball Tee from Bodek and Rhodes is never out of style. Available in sizes S to 2XL, the jersey knit tee is available in deep heather/black, deep heather/cardinal, tan/army, tan/brown and white/black color pairs.
