Ewa Wlaz has been named national sales director for Barker Specialty Company, Cheshire, Conn.
Wlaz graduated from Regis College with an undergraduate degree in both theater and graphic design. In December 2011, Wlaz will graduate from the University of Hartford with an MBA (marketing concentration).
Wlaz joined Barker Specialty Company in 2002 as an executive assistant. She quickly advanced to sales coordinator, then to account executive, senior account executive and now national director of sales. While at Barker Specialty Company, she has earned two prestigious honors, 30 under 30 Promotional Products Professionals by Counselor Magazine in 2005 and 40 under 40 from the New Haven Business Journal in 2007.
In her new role as national director of sales, Wlaz will be implementing new training programs for our sales staff as well as directing our national sales force to ensure greater account penetration.
