The NBA season is just about here, and numerous teams have announced their promotional schedules. So far, we’ve seen a lot of the usuals—posters, decals and bobbleheads—but the Memphis Grizzlies have a few giveaways planned that really stood out to us.

They did this last year, too, with their flip-flops and “Z-bow-ties.” Now, the team has upped its game with new and creative promotional items.

On Nov. 25, when the team faces the Minnesota Timberwolves, fans will receive “Fizz Glasses,” i.e. glasses modeled after head coach David Fizdale’s thick-rimmed spectacles. (Hopefully they aren’t prescription.)

For the culinarily-inclined Grizzlies fans, the team is giving away a Marc Gasol grill set on March 11 and a Tony Allen paper grinder on April 9.

For those fans looking to find their center after a tough loss, the team is giving away Chandler Parson yoga mats.

Finally, Zach Randolph, the namesake of the Z-bow-tie, will loan his likeness out for a “Z-Bo Wrestling Buddy,” which is a stuffed figurine that, supposedly, fans can wrestle. (We imagine it’s much easier to beat in a wrestling match than the real Zach Randolph.)

As the NBA and NHL seasons get into full swing, we’ll keep a close eye on team giveaways as more and more interesting promotions appear in stadiums.
