Chicago-based Flowers Communications Group (FCG) today announced the appointment of Christina Crawford to vice president.
In her new role, Crawford will lead key accounts in the agency’s Consumer Brands Group portfolio. She also will support new business efforts, assist with priority internal initiatives, and have increased external visibility for the agency. “I am excited to join the leadership team of FCG at a time when multicultural marketing is increasingly becoming a game-changer for more brands and organizations,” said Crawford.
Prior to joining FCG in 2008, Crawford established herself as a multifaceted PR practitioner with both agency and private-sector experience, working for and on behalf of local, national and international brands and clients. Her background in both corporate and consumer communications has helped shaped her approach to be a transparent partner with clients to help them achieve their business goals.
“Strong companies are built around employees who are assets, who continue to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table which enable them to stay ahead of the pack,” said Rashada Whitehead, managing director, FCG. “In our industry, having these resources is not an option, rather a necessity, and Christina is an invaluable resource. Her track record and work ethic speaks for itself.”
