Future Next Level Apparel Distribution Center to Bring 100 Jobs

logo-careersGardena, California-based Next Level Apparel has announced the company will open its new distribution center in Ashford, Ala. The new East Coast distribution center is projected to bring 100 new jobs to the city, according to the Dothan Eagle.

Ashford, Ala., utilized Mayor Jonathan Grecu and even Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley to convince Next Level Apparel that Ashford was the ideal place for the new distribution center.

Eyon Ron, Next Level Apparel’s chief operating officer, commented on the new facility in a press release:

Through tremendous support from the Alabama Department of Commerce, the Alabama Industrial Development Training, the city of Ashford, Houston County, the city of Dothan, the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce’s Grow Dothan, the local legislative delegation and the Houston County Industrial Development Authority, these entities have worked closely with Next Level Apparel to meet our needs in order to support the company’s continued growth in serving our customer base. Their team approach and collaboration were outstanding in serving our needs, and we are overwhelmed with the support received in all aspects of our project development. The teamwork shown made a tremendous impression on our selection, and we look forward to a long and prosperous business relationship with the Ashford community.

The city is excited for the new jobs the center will bring.

“Next Level is a high quality company,” said Matt Parker, president of the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce. “They will provide a meaningful employment opportunity. This company is doubling every 30 months. It’s a very high-level company. They will be hiring local people.”

Ron said the company plans to begin operating the distribution center by summer.
