Geiger, Lewiston, Maine, hosted the 10th annual Geiger Galleria at the Marriott Marquis in downtown Atlanta. This three-day event offered high quality industry education, a private trade show, world class motivational speakers, sales recognition and ample time for networking. More than 400 people were in attendance, including Geiger sales partners, associates and industry representatives.
One of the many highlights at this event, and perhaps the single most impressive presentation, was shared by Dan Nevins, warrior, speaker and teacher. Nevins shared how he was able to turn his life around after a tragically debilitating injury he suffered during the Gulf War. Attendees were inspired by his message and how he has turned his tragedy around to positively impact others. A certified yoga instructor, Nevins led two private yoga sessions for Galleria attendees. Gene Geiger, along with Dale Denham, CIT for Geiger, provided an insightful presentation regarding Geiger’s vision and direction. The two included a series of short films created to enforce their message in a truly creative approach.
“Geiger Galleria was another outstanding event,” said Jo-an Lantz, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Geiger. “The enthusiasm of sales partners, associates, and production partners was palpable from the moment you arrived. We have never had such an outstanding education offering, with over 15 classes and the opportunities for an individual to earn up to 16.5 [continuing education units!] On top of all that, what a trade show! The trade show floor was packed the entire day.”
