Gene Geiger, chief executive officer of Lewiston, Maine-based Geiger, announced that Dale Denham has been hired as chief information officer for the company.
As chief information officer, Denham will work directly under the CEO to lead Geiger’s information technology group. He will be directly responsible for redefining the department’s organization and invigorating the partnering between the technology and business units.
Denham comes to Geiger from the Advertising Specialty Institute where he served as senior vice president for 10 years. During his time at ASI, Denham guided the organization’s information technology strategy. He also led many different business units at varying times and served on the ASI computer systems board of directors. In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities, Denham was a speaker for ASI and led ASI’s international and strategic acquisitions.
“We are absolutely delighted that Dale has become part of our executive team,” noted Geiger. “He’s a technology visionary, but his skills and mindset extend to business operations and strategy. In addition, he knows the industry and its players like few others. I am confident he will help lift and grow our entire organization.”
Denham holds a bachelor of science in business administration from University of South Florida, and has been certified as a Master Advertising Specialist by the Promotional Products Association International, the largest trade organization for suppliers and distributors in the promotional products industry.
He was born in Indiana and currently lives in Ambler, Pa., with his wife and four children, and plans to relocate to Maine this summer.
