Montreal-based Gildan Activewear has renewed its certification under the stringent Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for its entire branded product line, including T-shirts, sport shirts, fleece, socks and underwear.
The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is an internationally recognized testing and certification system for textile and apparel production that guarantees products are free of harmful substances. Gildan has renewed its Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification yearly since 2004.
