There’s nothing Guy Fieri loves more than rolling out and scouring America for its greatest diners, drive-ins, and dives. The man has been everywhere in this country and experienced all of the regional food it has to offer.
So, it makes sense for him to partner with all 32 NFL teams for a Flavortown-branded apparel line that showcases each franchise’s home cuisine.
In a video declaring his new position as “Football’s director of flavor and fashion,” fire unveiled his “orders of business.” In addition to each player getting enough bleach and gel to copy his famous look, he showed designs like the Tennessee Titans’ Nashville hot chicken graphic, or the New York Jets’ thin-crust pizza design.
It’s official! I’m takin’ your favorite @NFL team on a trip down to Flavortown with my new officially licensed collection. Custom-designed by @homage, it features my favorite foods across all 32 NFL cities.

Guy Fieri has sort of had his finger on the pulse of cool merchandise collections lately. In addition to a steady supply of his own Flavortown merchandise like apparel and accessories, he’s done some pretty awesome partnerships, like when he and Blink 182 collaborated on a T-shirt for charity, or his “Munch Madness” basketball-themed drop that came dangerously close to trademark infringement.

This apparel promo works because it has complete appeal to the whole NFL. Each fanbase has its own representation. And, even if you’re not a fan of Fieri, you can get behind the design because it shows local pride, creating that branding aesthetic that goes beyond just the playing field that pro sports franchises have been adopting.

Maybe once Flavortown gets its own franchise, Fieri will have a hand in designing the uniforms.
