Hub Pen Company, the writing instrument supplier located in Braintree, Mass., recognized its top sales representatives for 2012 in January. Tom Flanagan of Flanagan Associates was recognized for having the largest sales dollar increase in the U.S. for the year, and Lisa Bennet was recognized for having the largest percentage sales increase in the U.S. in 2012. Chura Sales Ltd. was acknowledged for having both the largest percentage and dollar increase in Canada.
Flanagan received the award on January 5 at Hub Pen’s East Coast Sales Meeting at the Rosen Center Hotel during ASI Orlando where the company recognizes its top sales performers annually. Flanagan and his multiline reps at Flanagan and Associates have been with Hub Pen since 2008. Tom supports the territories of Florida and Puerto Rico, and Flanagan and Associates as a whole supports most of the Southeast.
“Tom was the first member of our team of multiline reps and set the standard we have come to expect from our sales team,” said Mike Fleming, vice president of sales for Hub Pen Company “He leads a great bunch of reps all over the Southeast with Flanagan and Associates.”
Bennett, who has been with Hub Pen Company since 2009, supports the Illinois region and received the largest percentage increase for the second year in a row at the company’s National Sales Meeting held during PPAI Expo.
“Lisa was one of our first and most successful reps and has continued to build a great base of customers in her territory of Illinois,” Fleming said..”Her loyalty to her customers and to Hub Pen is commendable. We are lucky to have her on our team.”
Chura Sales, owned by Dave Chura and Ken Greatrex, saw the largest sales dollar and percentage increases for 2012 and was the overall top performer from among eight Canadian multi-line representatives. The company was recognized at Hub Pen’s annual Canadian Sales Meeting, held on January 29, during the PPPC show in Toronto, Canada. Chura Sales has been with Hub Pen since early 2012. The company’s territory is Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Western Ontario.
