Hub Pen Company, Braintree, Mass., announced the addition of Darlenis Alonzo to the business development team. Boston native Alonzo honed her business developing skills recruiting for global sales and marketing outsourcing company MarketStar.
“MarketStar was a great opportunity for me,” she said. “I interviewed potential employees both over the phone and in person. The company was very family oriented, and we had the same values. I’m happy that Hub Pen is also family oriented, and the values are there as well. The people here at Hub are very fair with employees and customers”
Since she has joined Hub Pen earlier this year, Alonzo has learned a lot from her fellow team members, as well as the customers she has worked with.
“Everyone has been so friendly and helpful,” she said. “The customers have been amazing. We all learn from each other.”
When not at Hub, Alonzo spends her time with her children. They love to read together and spend their summers camping on Cape Cod. She also enjoys traveling to warmer climates, with Miami and Puerto Rico being her favorite destinations.
“We are excited to have Darlenis join us at Hub,” said Andy Arruda, Hub Pen Company’s national sales manager. “She is a hard worker and is fluent in Spanish. These skills, in addition to her being a people person, make her a welcome addition to the sales team.”
