Promo Marketing’s offices will be closed today, October 29, in anticipation of Hurricane Sandy. The Category 1 hurricane is expected to make landfall on Monday and will bring severe winds and heavy rainfall to much of the East Coast.
Several coastal cities have shut down or evactuated in preparation for the storm, and states of emergencies have been declared in Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Rhode Island, New Jersey and Washington, D.C. Residents in affected areas that have not been evacuated are advised to remain indoors during the duration of the storm, which will continue through Tuesday as a tropical storm, bringing rain conditions throughout the rest of the week.
