Tom Macy, graphics manager for Hub Pen Company, passed away Sunday, August 4 at his home in Kingston, Mass. He was 57 years old.
Tom worked as a designer and creative manager in the Boston area and South Shore since 1981, and took that experience to Hub Pen in 2008, where he designed virtually all catalogs, advertising and marketing pieces while managing the graphics team. He was known for his warm and lighthearted way with his colleagues and friends.
Outside of Hub Pen Company his creativity was enjoyed by many in New England, from his living history portrayals of John Adams at historical sites throughout Massachusetts, to his work as conductor for his church choir and band. He is survived by many family members and friends and his life will be celebrated in a memorial service at his church in Plymouth.
