Newton Manufacturing Company, headquartered in Newton, Iowa, announced today that Jay Donlin, executive vice president of sales and marketing, has chosen to pursue a career outside the promotional products industry. His final day at the company will be December 14, 2012.
“We very much appreciate Jay’s dedicated efforts over the past three-and-a-half years,” said Mancil Laidig, Newton Manufacturing’s president. “He has made a valuable contribution to the company and we wish him well as he pursues a new career with his family’s business in Minnesota.”
Donlin, a 20-year veteran of the promotional products industry, worked as a multi-line representative, supplier and distributor. During his career, Donlin also served as president of the Promotional Products Association of Chicago and president of the Recognition Council, a strategic industry group of the Incentive Marketing Association.
“Working with Newton Manufacturing has been a great experience and I am grateful for the opportunity,” said Donlin. “Leaving behind great friendships with employees, representatives and industry associates makes this decision a difficult one. I have been truly blessed to a part of this fine industry.
