Jay-Z Sued by Wholesaler Over $450,000 Bill

Hip-hop mogul Jay-Z has been sued by a New York wholesaler over an unsettled bill for imprinted apparel. iSource NYC has filed a lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court against Rocawear, the apparel brand co-created by Jay-Z, over $450,000 allegedly owed to the wholesaler, The New York Post reports.

In its court filing, iSource NYC states that Rocawear placed a $1 million order for “specially ordered goods … [with] the ‘Rocawear’ brand name imprinted on [them].” The wholesaler had the garments manufactured in Pakistan and shipped to New York last spring, but was only paid for half of the invoice. The filing goes on to state that Rocawear “never returned the ROC goods to iSource.”

iSource NYC is seeking the remaining $500,000 owed on the bill in addition to 9 percent interest. For more information, visit The New York Post.
