Kaeser & Blair Inc., Batavia, Ohio, held its 21st Annual Kaeser Convention on Sept. 16 and 17 with more than 600 people participating. The convention included many educational opportunities including a seminar by Don Sanders, founder of SellPromoProducts.com and a regular lecturer and trainer in the industry. The three-day convention began with a dinner cruise that included top sales volume Kaeser & Blair dealers, top suppliers, key Kaeser & Blair personnel and special guest Matthew Barnes, publisher of Promo Marketing Media Group.
Friday’s activities were a private trade show featuring nearly 200 of the industry’s top vendors followed by a gala gathering at the NFL’s Paul Brown Stadium’s luxurious party facility. The annual convention culminated with a formal awards banquet recognizing sales excellence and superior service from vendors. A video tribute to Richard (Dick) Kaeser, board chairman of Kaeser & Blair who recently passed away, was presented.
The annual Kaeser Convention was affectionately renamed the “Kaeser Family Reunion” by their dealers soon after the first convention in 1991. That atmosphere was apparent at this year’s event. Dick Kaeser Legend Awards were given to 19 Kaeser & Blair dealers achieving a minimum of $500,000 in sales. Sixty-one dealers won awards for exceptional sales growth and 10 industry vendors were recognized for excellence in business with Kaeser & Blair. Those vendors are: Aakron Rule, D&S Specialties, Dard Products, Gold Bond, Hit Promotional Products, Hub Pen Company, Leed’s, Norwood and BIC Graphic North America, SanMar and Vitronic Promotional Group.
