Koozie Group, Clearwater, Florida, recently announced the promotion of Phil Gergen to the role of senior vice president of technology. Gergen, who was most recently vice president of information technology, was promoted on March 3.
In his new position, he will lead the entire technology team. Gergen will align Koozie Group’s technology with its business goals of improving the customer service experience, increasing the company’s integrations with its customers, aligning its digital tools and presence, and bringing the company’s initiatives to fruition.
“Phil is very deserving of this promotion,” said David Klatt, CEO of Koozie Group. “He began his career with our company many years ago at our facility in Red Wing, Minnesota, which was known as Norwood Promotional Products at the time. Since then, he has demonstrated tremendous leadership of his team and knowledge of the industry, both at our company and through his involvement with the PromoStandards board. Gergen has over 18 years of experience in the promotional products industry, starting with Norwood Promotional Products, continuing with BIC Graphic, and leading in the transformation to Koozie Group. He is also a board member for PromoStandards, a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization committed to improving supply chain and transactional efficiencies in the promotional products industry.
Recently, Gergen was voted into the PromoStandards executive committee as one of the leaders of that organization. He is active across all areas of Koozie Group and IMAGEN Brands, which Koozie Group acquired in 2020.
