North Mankato, Minnesota-based supplier Label Works, a Navitor Company, has introduced “freeform by Label Works,” an innovative program designed to make uniquely shaped or oddly sized labels affordable.
Using their digital production process, Label Works has developed the ability to produce labels of any shape or size without set-up or die charges. The program incorporates Label Works’ seven most popular stocks printed in one, two or three inks or four color process. Quantities start as low as 100 labels with a 72 hour turn-around.
The freeform program is ideal for any customer looking to take an ordinary label to the extraordinary or sizing a label to fit an exact area. The program is especially useful for the food and beverage, advertising and retail industries that are looking to set their product apart from their competition; freeform labels can help create brand identity with a shape that compliments the logo or packaging.
Customers can also use the freeform program to order specific die sizes that Label Works does not currently carry in its catalog; rather than substituting a close size such as a 4.25″ x 3″, the customer can order the true size they need, such as 4.2125″ x 3.18″.
