After 18 years working as regional vice president of sales for Geiger, Lewiston, Maine, Laura Holt, MAS, has retired on April 13, 2018.
Geiger acquired Laura’s company, Holt Marketing Group Ltd., on Jan. 1, 2000.
Prior to the acquisition, Holt was actively involved in running her promotional products company, located in Scottsdale, Ariz., since its establishment in 1984. After joining Geiger, Holt served in a variety of sales management capacities throughout a number of regions in the country. She has served as an Arizona Promotional PRoducts Association (AzPPA) board member, chairperson for AzPPA Expo 2004/2005, and on the 2011 Promotional Products Education Foundation Board of Trustees.
“As I reflect back, I hope I had a positive and effective impact on the many wonderful people who were part of this journey,” said Holt. “I’ve made many close friends, had some great experiences and feel a strong sense of accomplishment. Those memories and friendships will be always cherished.”
Along with international travel, one of Holt’s passions has been collecting antique promotional products. She possesses an excellent collection of vintage items that she often shares for their educational and historic value.
“I have always enjoyed each chapter in my life and am looking forward to the next one,” Holt added. “As I enter this new chapter I will travel, read, antique and continue to search for interesting and unusual restaurants. I hope to see many of you in the future. Thanks to the industry and to the many people at Geiger for helping me have a rewarding career!”
