Leashables by OraLabs Inc., located in Parker, Co., is implementing new labeling standards to ensure compliance with the new FDA regulations for SPF products that will be in effect on June 18, 2012. Their new lip balm labels will be an extended wrap label to accommodate the additional requirement of disclosing skin cancer/skin aging alert. This FDA requirement is to further educate the consumer about sun protection. As a result of this change the imprint area for client’s custom logos is doubled, creating a windfall of space to accommodate increased text font sizes and give more clarity for the higher resolution logos.
“As an industry leader in sun care products, our organization has been and continues to maintain cGMP and stay up-to-date with FDA regulatory standards,” said Red Jordan, executive vice president of OraLabs. “This is yet another opportunity for Leashables to show that we have our distributors and their customer’s best interest in mind by ensuring that our products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality.”
As the largest private label lip balm manufacturer in the country and winner of the prestigious 2011 Product Innovation award for Global Business Partners of Procter and Gamble, there are no limits to what Leashables by OraLabs Inc. can do in the promotional products industry. Leashables by OraLabs Inc. will continue to offer the highest quality personal care products at competitive prices and meet the needs of all distributors in the promotional industry.
