Local, State Officials Join Tex Visions in Grand Opening of New Manufacturing Facility

Prominent local and state officials were on hand two weeks ago to celebrate with Tex Visions LLC, as the prominent wholesale printing company hosted a ribbon cutting event and open house in honor of its new manufacturing facility in Middlesex Township, Cumberland County, Pa.

The Oct. 30 celebration highlighted the Tex Visions’ growth from two employees, one office suite and no resellers to a fully-integrated printing and manufacturing company. Speaking at the event and assisting with the ribbon cutting included Pa. State Rep. Stephen Bloom; Bruce Krell, representative for U.S. Rep. Lou Barletta; David Black, president and CEO of the Harrisburg Economic Regional Chamber and CREDC; Pam Martin, executive director of the TechCelerator@Carlisle; and Secy. C. Alan Walker of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.

“Tex Visions’ story of growth underscores the importance of positioning Pennsylvania to compete both nationally and globally,” Walker said.

After the ribbon cutting, guests were treated to tours of the new 60,000-square-foot facility. The company moved Aug. 12 from its suites at the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDEC’s Ben Franklin TechCelerator@Carlisle (formerly Murata Business Center), which it had occupied since its inception in 2004.

“With the completion of our new facility, we can move our company into a new phase,” company CEO Marcel Ruhland said at the event. “Since physical space was critically needed, the production floor and warehouse will allow us to increase our array of services and capabilities. We are able to purchase additional equipment to advance our offerings, along with up-to-date work stations for the most efficient production. Most of all, our team is able to grow and contribute to our path of success.”
