Magnets.com, Jersey City, N.J., announced the acquisition of Customized Stickers, a designer and manufacturer of custom stickers including decals, labels, bumper stickers and window stickers.
“This is a significant day in the history of Magnets.com and the customers we serve day in, day out,” said Erwin Metius, president of Magnets.com. “Separately each company is a well respected, quickly growing, profitable leader in their space. As a whole we’re an industry bellwether with the tools and knowledge required to continue our strong growth and better meet the needs of our highly valued customers.”
There will be a two phase integration of the companies. The first is expected later this month with the launch of a newly designed, best-of-breed e-commerce enabled customizedstickers.com. Additionally, several new, high-demand sticker related products will be added. The second phase is expected within a year when Customized Stickers products are added to magnets.com, with customizedstickers.com acting as a microsite.
Based in League City, Texas, the Customized Stickers business will be fully operated and managed out of Magnets.com’s Jersey City, N.J. headquarters starting immediately.
Highlighting the company’s dedication to the customer, there will be a continued focus on innovation. “This acquisition is just another scalable step in our strategic plan to help modernize this industry and become the go-to source for custom, high-quality promotional products and printed items,” said Metius.
