Rose Thron, owner of Marketing World Specialties in Melbourne, Fla., has recently aligned her successful distributorship with The Vernon Company, Newton, Iowa. Thron will continue to maintain the Marketing World Specialties corporate identity while representing The Vernon Company.
“In early 2013 I decided to consider joining forces with a national promotional products company, because I felt there were advantages for Marketing World and our clients that I couldn’t offer as a small distributor,” Thron said. “I spent several months researching and interviewing several national distributorships. Once I met the management and staff of Vernon and visited their home offices in Iowa, I was hopeful we could become part of their team. I am honored Vernon extended the invitation to align with them and I am excited about our future together!
“My long time sales staff consisting of Pat Ryan, Sandra LeBlanc, Shelly Anderson, Jill McFarland and Darline Burke also have joined the Marketing World/Vernon team,” Thron said. Marketing World has been an independent promotional products distributor since 1989.
