Mayor Michael L. Hansen was joined by promotional products distributors the Vernon Company, Newton Manufacturing Company and Maxim Advertising to proclaim the week of Feb. 25 through March 1, 2013, as Promotional Products Work! Week, in Newton, Iowa. All three businesses were founded in Newton and have kept their national headquarters in the city.
“We are very appreciative of the support the Newton community has shown each of our businesses and, in turn, promotional products industry,” said Molly Beavers, Newton Manufacturing’s senior marketing manager.
Added Stephanie Vernon Critchfield, Vernon Company’s Western Region Manager, “Newton has been a great partner for our businesses and ultimately the industry as a whole. This community has embraced the promotional products industry and helped each of us succeed.”
Promotional Products Work! Week is sponsored by the Promotional Products Association International and is set aside to demonstrate the importance of promotional products as an effective advertising medium and marketing tool.
