McCormick Armstrong, one of the nation’s premier privately held web and sheet fed commercial printing companies, announced Jere Ames-Johnson has joined its senior management team as vice president of sales and marketing. The 110-year-old company serves clients nationwide with print marketing, supply chain management, warehousing, fulfillment, database management, distribution and other branding solutions.
Emphasizing sales and marketing throughout his life-long career in print communication, Ames-Johnson has served as president of four commercial printing companies over the past 20 years.
Jake Shaffer, president and CEO of McCormick Armstrong, said, “We’re fortunate to have someone with Jere’s experience to help us grow existing business, and expand into new markets nationally.”
Over the past two years, McCormick Armstrong has embarked on a $10 million capital improvement plan, installing state-of-the-art pre-press technology, a new five-unit Goss M600 press, and specialty bindery and poly-bagging capabilities.
“These capital improvements, coupled with G7 certification, allows McCormick Armstrong to have high-quality, cost-efficient pre-press-to-bindery-and-distribution all under one roof,” Shaffer said.
