Millennium Leather LLC Successfully Emerges from Chapter 11 Debt Reorganization

Millennium Leather LLC, Teaneck, N.J., announced it has successfully completed its Chapter 11 debt reorganization. On Aug. 16, 2010, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey approved the company’s plan for reorganization, which takes effect on Oct.16, 2010.

After filing chapter 11 in October 2009, the company continued to operate as an industry supplier without an interruption in service. Under the terms of the plan, all creditors, secured and unsecured, will receive a full (not discounted) settlement.

“We wish to thank everyone involved, including our loyal and active customers, who have provided unwavering support since this process began. Most importantly, we are continuing to operate with the same level of excellence, fine products and great customer service that we have always provided,” said Philip and Donna Kahan, co-owners of Millennium Leather LLC/Andrew Philips.
