Moby is a vegan. If you didn’t know that, you probably haven’t seen a recent picture of the formerly popular electronic artist. In addition to a big ol’ neck tat that says “Vegan for Life” that he got earlier this year, he just posted a picture of his arms, which now read “Animal Rights” in giant letters. That’s forever!

But, if vegan or at least animal-friendly folks want a less permanent and in-your-face method of showing their love for our furry (and feathered) friends, you could check out Moby’s new Little Pine line of apparel to fund animal rights organizations.
The line is a way to advertise his LA vegan restaurant of the same name, and includes sweatshirts, hats, T-shirts and more. Also like his restaurant, all profits will go toward animal rights organizations.

“Ultimately I’m driven by my belief that every animal is simply, ineluctably entitled to their own god-given life,” Moby told Veg News. “I am driven by the simple belief that animals are not ours to eat, wear or experiment on. Simply: Animals are not ours.”
It should come as no surprise to read that all of the apparel is made of plant-based material.
It’s an interesting take on restaurant apparel. Obviously, he wants to advertise the restaurant, but by connecting it with the vegan ethos and nonprofit nature of the restaurant, he’s doing more than just padding his own (non-cotton) pockets.
