Newton Manufacturing Company, Newton, Iowa, announced that Dan Marston has joined the company as vice president of sales.
“Dan has a tremendous sales management background,” said Mancil Laidig, president of Newton Manufacturing. “His experience will enhance our ability to serve clients and our sales force with value-added concepts and services.”
Marston comes to Newton from Jeld-Wen, an Oregon-based window and door manufacturer. In his 30-year career with them, Marston most recently served as general manager of one of their divisions in Grinnell, Iowa. His background reflects a successful career in operations and management with a consistent focus on profitability and expanding market share.
“I am looking forward to meeting our sales representatives, understanding their needs and challenges, and I am committed to developing new avenues of sales growth,” Marston said.
Marston received his Bachelor of Science degree from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio and his MBA from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte.
