We always remembered how to spell “Arkansas” by first spelling “Kansas” and just adding “Ar.” Easy enough, right? Well, apparently not for Nike. During the University of Arkansas’ game on Saturday against Texas Christian University, ESPN panned over to the sideline and showed Arkansas running back T.J. Hammonds’ jersey, which proudly displayed “Akransas.”
And, as people on the internet are wont to do, fans took to Twitter to scrutinize Nike’s spelling mistakes.
You know how people always abbreviate Arkansas AK even though it's wrong? THIS WON'T HELP #WPS pic.twitter.com/wTmQlrAbuX

From what we could see, Hammonds’ jersey was the only one with a misspelling. Or, at the very least, if someone else had a botched jersey, ESPN didn’t show it.
