Norwood & BIC Graphic North America, Cleawater, Fla., announced its Tampa facilities conducted an employee raffle and raised a total of $9,500, a portion of which provided 200 Thanksgiving meals to 19 area organizations. Remaining funds raised were donated to local organizations. In addition, employees held a food-drive, collecting non-perishable items to be donated to the St. Petersburg Free Clinic.
“I’m always floored by the generosity of our employees, and this year was no exception to that,” said Mike Butler, site manager of the Tampa location. “I’m proud to have been a part of the event, and I hope that everyone has derived from it the same sense of satisfaction that I have. It’s such a huge thing – knowing that you’ve made a difference to someone that needed it.”
