Promotional products distributor Pinnacle Promotions Inc., Atlanta, announced the addition of original 360-degree imagery to its website. The new technology provides visitors with an interactive shopping experience, allowing them to view full spherical panoramas of products.
The visual effect of the 360-degree images is accomplished through a process that assembles multiple photographs taken of different angles of the promotional products into one fluid animation. Users have the option to view a still image or the 360-degree animation on each product page. They are also able to interact with the animation and “grab” the image to rotate the product to any angle with their mouse.
“The new 360-degree images offer a much more intimate and detailed view of our promotional products,” said Mitch Weintraub, chief executive officer of Pinnacle Promotions. “We want our customers to be confident in their purchases and with this imagery we are able to better communicate product features, while enhancing consumers’ visual enjoyment of our site.”
Pinnacle Promotions has always been on the cutting edge of technology innovation in order to provide customers with a higher value shopping experience, Weintraub explained. Last year the company unveiled a newly designed website that features enhanced product customization tools and a streamlined ordering process. The 360-degree imagery is their newest initiative in making it easier for clients to purchase the products they need for their marketing efforts.
The 360-degree images are currently applied to over 3,500 promotional products on Pinnacle Promotions’ site and plans are in place to continue adding this imagery to more products in the future.
