PPAChicago’s 2012 New Product Ideas Show Attracts 1,200 Attendees

On Thursday, March 1, the 10th annual PPAChicago New Product Ideas (NPI) show opened to a waiting crowd. Throughout the day 1,150 distributor members and clients walked the show, talking with exhibitors and gathering ideas. Over 350 distributors and 850 end-users perused the aisles and found new and exciting promotional products to fulfill their promotional needs.

Promotional professionals from the greater Chicagoland area were treated to Mark Graham’s education session, “Ten No Nonsense Ways Social Media Can Be Applied to Your Promotional Products Business.” Utilizing an entertaining and interactive approach, Graham walked attendees through case histories that illustrated how implementing a social media strategy can pay immediate dividends. By demonstrating easy ways to utilize Twitter, YouTube and QR Codes, Graham was able to show the attendees creative approaches to increasing revenue that work. Feedback from PPAChicago attendees placed Graham’s class as the event’s highest rated education session in the past four years.
