Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), the not-for-profit association for member companies of the $16.5 billion promotional products industry, announced today at The PPAI Expo that the association’s membership has reached a 10,000-member milestone. PPAI president and CEO Paul Bellantone, CAE, spoke at the Expo general session where he shared the milestone news with members and show attendees.
“Achieving the 10,000 members-mark is certainly an incredible milestone for us. We continue to be inspired by the strength of our industry and the professionalism of our members who are the brain trust that build credibility and community for us all,” Bellantone said. “Strength in membership brings benefits to all PPAI members. The more members we have the greater share of the industry we represent and this means our voice grows stronger and our common goals are easier to achieve.”
“The success of the industry depends upon the success of our members and we will continue to offer the industry’s best value in membership, superior benefits and the highest level of market-education and resources in order to remain the preferred service-provider and industry authority to members on a global basis,” explained Bob McLean, PPAI executive vice president.
David Peterson, president of Polar Bear Marketing based in Riverside, Calif., was recognized as the 10,000th PPAI member during The PPAI Expo, the industry’s largest and longest running trade show and a top 50 show according to Tradeshow Week. His membership will continue to be celebrated throughout 2012 in a variety of ways. Look to hear more about and from David Peterson throughout the year.
