Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) on November 7 introduced the PPAI Health Care Planning Tool. In an effort to address the needs of its members, PPAI has added this new tool to help members navigate the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act (PPACA).
As the PPACA changes the health care landscape, it is going to present decisions for promotional products businesses of all sizes, regardless of whether or not the business is required to accept certain responsibilities by law. The PPAI Health Care Planning Tool is designed to help PPAI members sort through the decision-making process. It identifies some of the questions, concerns and effects members need to consider moving forward.
“This is a great opportunity for companies to get an objective look at where they stand when it comes to the new PPACA,” said Anne Lardner-Stone, PPAI director of public affairs.“ Members can use it to evaluate the most pressing health care questions and options to consider.”
The new tool aims to give PPAI’s more than 10,600 members not only the information and knowledge they need to address health care reform, but also to get a head start on exploring their options before the system goes operational in 2014.
This planning tool application is provided by Promotional Products Association International’s membership and is furnished for educational and informational purposes only. The Association makes no warranties or representations about specific dates, coverage or application and encourages members to consult appropriate counsel regarding the specific application of the law to their businesses.
