Premier Group Network (PGN) reconnected members with a retreat in Park City, Utah, Aug. 22-25. The primary goal was to safely reconnect members and collaborate on solutions to help power business.
Approximately half of PGN’s membership was in attendance, tackling tough topics plaguing the industry. Day one of the two-day event included a dynamic group workshop with both supplier and distributor members. Attendees engaged in candid panel discussions, as well as roundtable group and one-on-one discussions.
Day two, architected only for distributor principal partners, allowed members to confidentially collaborate and idea-share with other like-sized industry distributors.
“While we are so grateful for the virtual events that have sustained us over the past 18 months, we have been craving the collaboration and magic that seems to happen when we are all in the same physical space,” said Menda Wright, 2021 PGN board chair. “Being together gave us the time we needed to reconnect with our partners and friends. From that, we are all leaving inspired and armed with new strategies to emerge from this pandemic stronger and more resilient.”
“The collaborative supplier and distributor conversation, and confidential distributor principal partner forum is what differentiates Premier Group from all other groups,” said Dana Geiger, PGN executive director. “Hands down, Premier Group is one of the industry’s best kept secrets. Because the organization is carefully curated to mitigate any threat of competition for both supplier and distributor members, conversations and partnerships that evolve are incredibly meaningful and productive for all.”
Premier Group Network is looking forward to 2022 when the entire membership will gather for the 25th anniversary and annual meeting. Until then, board leaders were pleased to be able to provide a safe and supportive place for members to collaborate.
