Prime Line, Bridgeport, Conn., the hard goods division of Trevose, Pennsylvania-based alphabroder, has launched a deep inventory program called primeplus, featuring 30 top-selling items that come with the company’s deepest inventory commitment, which means in stock all the time.
The primeplus program, modeled after alphabroder’s of the same name, can fill large orders of 5,000 to 25,000 units from on-hand inventory.
“Distributors are typically forced to order these types of quantities overseas,” said Jeff Lederer, president of Prime Line. “Now they can order domestically from us and have their order shipped in days instead of months.”
Most primeplus items are available with free 24-hour rush and, for orders shipping west of the Mississippi River, distributors can request Prime Express shipping—FedEx three-day air—and be invoiced at the ground rate.
The primeplus items represent top items from Prime Line and Jetline, the company’s value line.
“Top sellers that are in stock make primeplus items a great choice for programs and company stores,” added Lederer. “We expect to add more items to the program before the end of the year.”
