Marcus Sweeney of Prime Line, Bridgeport, Conn., was named Prime Line’s Salesperson of the Year and ePromos Promotional Products’ Supplier Rep. of the Year for 2012.
Sweeney was honored at Prime Line’s awards dinner, which took place in conjunction with the company’s national sales meeting in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. “Marcus’s perseverance and engaging personality endear him to distributors and these traits have helped him build many strong relationships,” said Paula Shulman, vice president of sales for Prime Line. “His work in developing key accounts in Canada has generated excellent results as our business there increased significantly in 2012.”
Distributor ePromos Promotional Products, based in New York, also honored Sweeney with its Supplier Rep. of the Year award. “It was easy selecting Marcus as ePromos’ Supplier Rep. of the Year,” said Hope Binegar, senior merchandising manager for ePromos Promotional Products. “He brings an outstanding amount of dedication to his work, displays a great attitude and has learned our culture here at ePromos. He just gets it.”
Sweeney, a national accounts manager with Prime Line, said “I’m honored to receive these awards. What made them possible is all the support I receive at Prime in addition to the great products and services we offer.”
Other Prime honorees include Jonathon Horowitz, sales account executive, who received the Rising Star Award and Laura Brewer, Western Regional Sales Manager, who received the award for the largest percentage increase in a territory.
