Pro Towels, Pittsburgh, announced an expansion of its plant in Abbeville County, S.C., creating numerous job opportunities, thanks to the U.S. Department of Agriculture in concert with West Carolina Rural Telephone Cooperative Inc.
The 300,000 square foot facility currently employs 150 people.
“We are excited by the opportunities made possible by this,” said Kevin Nord, owner of the Pro Towels family of companies. “Our facility in South Carolina has worked very closely with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, as well as Abbeville County and the state of South Carolina, to generate new jobs and opportunities as we continue to grow.”
Pro Towels’ recent expansion also includes the acquisition of Kanata Blanket in August 2015 and NeetFeet in September 2016.
