A grand opening event was held on May 23, 2013 at the new 300,000 square foot East Coast sales and operations facility of Pro Towels and Superior Decorating in Abbeville, S.C.
Members from the Abbeville City and County Council, the Abbeville County Development Board, Department of Social Services, representatives from local banks, workforce center, EMS and other service providers were in attendance. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held with opening remarks by Kevin Nord, owner of Pro Towels, and a plant tour was given by vice president of operations, Jeremy Scott.
“Abbeville has provided us with an excellent business environment and a skilled workforce for over 26 years,” Nord said. “We appreciate all the support we’ve received from state and local officials. We are very proud of the impact Pro Towels has made, not only in Abbeville County, but in the state of South Carolina.”
