The auction for the website and brand of Promo.com has had bidding extended until mid-February. Bidding on the domain name will now end on Thursday, February 16 at 3:15 P.M. EST.
The top-level domain was put up for auction as part of DOMAINfest Global 2012, held in Santa Monica, Calif., from January 31 to February 2. The auction was extended following the conclusion of DOMAINfest Global 2012. The Promo.com domain is joined by several other in-demand domains up for sale, including emails.com and democracy.com.
“High quality, five letter ‘dot com’ domains are nearly impossible to find, particularly those related to a high demand niche like promotions,” said John Mauriello, domain specialist of Moniker, which is holding the auction.
